Oak Provincial One Piece Continuous Newel Post

Description

The oak provincial one peice newel would usually be fitted onto a flat surface at the stair of a staircase. There is a 50mm diameter peg on the top of the post which is used to support a volute or ‘monkey tail’ handrial fitting within a continuous handrail system, so that the handrail can flow over the post and up the stairs.
