Oak Oxford Volute Newel Post

Description

The oak oxford continuous one piece newel post is usually fitted onto a flat surface at the beginning of a staircase. There is a 50mm diameter peg on the top to support a volute or ‘monkey tail’ handrail fitting and allows the handrail to flow in a continuous style over the post and up the stairs.
