Banister Rails

Pine Banister Rails range are a knotty timber with a yellow appearance, and can be painted or varnished and are ideal as cheaper option for replacement staircase banister.

Oak Bannister Rails range are hardwood and are grained to medium to coarse wood; making it suitable for a beautiful staircase remodel project.
Oak looks stunning lacquered or oiled, and will transform your stairs to a more modern design perfect to update your stairs.

Hemlock Bannister Rails range is a softwood and usually knot-free timber with a straight clear grain. This makes hemlock a beautiful wood for staining and varnishing and is also an ideal timber if you wish to paint too.

White Primed Bannister Rails range are made from Tulip or Birch Wood, a knot-free wood that makes this popular for our sprayed white primed range for a very high standard.

We do occasionally use pine for the primed stair parts but this is rare however only a primer applied, and would still need a final coat which is why you tend to have various shades in the white primed colours.

Ash timber is a hardwood pale brown and occasional reddish dark patch. Ash wood can sometimes be a very nice clear light hardwood which stains and lacquers very well.

Dark Hardwood range is one of the most famous hardwoods, once known for being called Mahogany. Today however we use the Sapele hardwood which is a medium to dark reddish-brown timber and ideal for staining or lacquered.
