MAKING YOUR PAYMENT

When ordering from Shaw Stairs Ltd website we offer Five methods of payment.

  1. By entering your credit card details into our secure server. When this process is used the secure server does not charge your Card until we are ready to dispatch your goods.
  2. By requesting an order form and sending a cheque with an order. (Please allow 5 working days for the cheque to clear)
  3. By requesting an order form and sending your payment via BACS. (Goods will be dispatched as soon as the order is received)
  4. By requesting an order form and sending your payment via paypal. (Goods will be dispatched as soon as the order is received)
  5. By Calling our Local Rate Number 0845 6444 004 with your Order and Credit Card Details

 DELIVERY

For purposes the UK includes England, Scotland, Wales, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man .

Items are placed on a three day delivery service to England, low lands of Scotland and Wales.

Items to the Highlands of Scotland, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Northern 0r Sothern Ireland are placed on a minimum 5 day service.

An email will be sent to confirm the order.

Items can be delivered next day if an order is received by 11am and that your items are in stock.

Please allow up to a maximum of 5 working days for delivery unless a specific date is requested. Please see "Preferred Delivery Date" box at the end of your order.

If items are not received within 5 working days of your order being placed please contact us 08456 444 004.

Please check all parcels for damaged or missing items. Please report any damaged or missing items and ensure that all parts fit together i.e. Axxys brackets fit in the baluster, to us on 08456 444 004. Items must be reported within 10 working days of your order being received in order for them to be replaced.

Please check all parcels are present and intact on delivery before signing your delivery ticket. If you are unsure about any item please sign on the ticket as "damaged". Any items that have not been signed for as damaged will not be replaced. (Items cannot be replaced if a parcel is missing that has been signed for.)

When signing for your items please ensure that you also date and write the time delivered on the courier's sheet.

Delivery Cost

To England, Low lands of Scotland and Wales delivery cost is:

£20.00 plus V.A.T

For Northern or Southern Ireland delivery cost is:

£50.00 plus V.A.T

Sundays and Bank Holidays are not available.

If you require small items because you missed them off an order please call 0845 6444 004 (local rate) for a small order delivery cost.

RETURNED ITEMS

Our guarantee means that if for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us within 30 days of the date you received them.  The item or items have to be in their original packaging, in the same condition as you received them, unopened. We will then issue a full refund. We will only accept an "opened" package if it is faulty.

All items are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Items that are returned after the 30 day returns period are subject to a further 10% charge.

Please follow the steps below to enable us to process your refund more efficiently:

  • Please contact us as soon as possible and give us a reason why the item is being returned
  • Please quote all invoice numbers and dates when you received the items.
  • In case of any damaged items, faults or missing parts, please contact us as soon as possible with a description.
  • Please wrap all items securely in its original packaging when returning items.
  • The cost of returning any items is paid for by the customer.

For security we recommend that all returned parcels are sent by recorded delivery.We will notify you when the item(s) have been received and the item(s) refunded, by a telephone call or via email.

CANCELLATION OF AN ORDER

Cancellation must be in the form of a letter, email or fax sent to the address stated. We will allow a "cooling of period" which last seven days from the day after the delivery is received. If you cancel your order under these provisions then you will be responsible for returning the goods in the same condition as received undamaged and unused. Alternatively you will be responsible for all cost accrued for us recovering the goods.

The delivery of any goods is a separate contract for services and is not covered by the "cooling off period", therefore any refund made will not include the costs of delivery of the goods.
